ISNÆTTER

SYDHAVN TEATER 2026

Based on ICE written by ANNA KAVAN

ISNÆTTER is a performance about power and human fragility in a fragmented reality. In a world shrouded in icy chaos, a nameless narrator pursues a mysterious woman through a landscape that slowly freezes under an all-consuming apocalypse. ISNÆTTER is nightmare-like science fiction and psychedelic dream logic — a hypnotic journey through obsession, power, and destruction, where the boundaries between reality and hallucination melts away, like everything else.

This psychological drama unfolds in a universe frozen in misogyny and climate catastrophe, brought to life in a meticulously choreographed work by Amanda Ginman and Tina Tarpgaard.

A SENSORY ENCOUNTER BETWEEN DANCE AND DRAMA

In ISNÆTTER, movement and words merge, amplifying each other in a performance that dares to confront difficult emotions. Director Amanda Ginman — Reumert Award winner for Mørkt Forår — and acclaimed choreographer Tina Tarpgaard join forces in a work where dance, text, and sound create an intense, physical portrait of darkness. Through sensory experience and confrontation, the performance seeks to awaken an insight that can become fuel for change.
